I was cheered up to know Merkel has decided to abandon nuc policy.

She says they can make it a huge chance to get to the alternative power economy, such as solar,wind,etc..

Here in Japan, one of the Japanese IT company, softbank is trying to invest huge into solar business

with the alliance of local governments.

but I feel like it's the same as nuclear power.

The basic problem behind the whole shit was,

people had the fantasy about one thing ,ignored all the negative possibility, invested huge into one thing,

which can be extremely risky.

To me,it looks like a grotesque clone of nuclear power.

The bottom line is the same.

Generate power in the economy of scale.

and distribute it to everywhere.

I dare to call it mega ism.

Whatever it is,there must be any side effect. Nothing can be perfect.

According to a recent research after 3.11,

if we try to cover up 8% of the total energy supply with solar, our green would be collapsed.

Wind mill causes noise and that's a problem unsolved yet.

We must think the most of diversity all the time.

Earth.

That's an ecology of billions of the different species.

Why is it not one mega species ?

That's to reduce the risk.

Some of them are strong for the heat.

Some of them have strong immune system.

Some of them are huge.

Some of them breed fast.

That's how it should be.

OK,solar,wind,and something else.

looks like diversity.

but we also should take it into consideration

a life style like amish,

a life style like immigrant bird,

a life style like nomad.

There's the social attitude to force everyone to live in exactly the same life style,

behind the fukushima nuc accident.

This is a symbolic problem of the modern society after industrial revolution.

We,creatures, tend to increase the "similarity" of our circumstances.

That's what I will write about on my next post.

Absolutely, the ecological economy is quite different from our nowadays way of life. For the similarity, reminds me of the danger of "more of the same"
What I found on the net about this theory to explain :
More of the Same: The story is of Nasruddin, the Sufi joker sage, who was crawling around the campfire in front of his desert tent when a friend walked by. "What are you looking for?" "My key" At this his friend got on his knees and joined in the search, soon another friend came by and there were three of them helping, then a fourth. Soon, a fifth friend came by and asked, "What are you looking for?"
"My key"
"Oh, where did you lose it?"
"In my tent."
"In your tent? Then why are all of you looking for it out here?"
"Because the light is better here."

Sounds absurd, doesn't it? If you look in the wrong place, you will never find what you're looking for, right? Yes, but continuing the game of "more of the same, is one of the most effective recipes for disaster that has gradually evolved on our planet."

I should say, also, that if you think well, solar energy can be worst than nuc... it just doesn't respect energy balance of earth. Only wind or water moves can do, but if we stay vigilant to the way we use it... I won't go further or I will look more pessimistic than you are, my friend ;)

Great thoughts anyway ;)
